ME4SME / Accessibility

Accessibility.

Everyone should be able to use this site.

We want everyone to be able to use ME4SME. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, which is the standard used by the New Zealand Government Web Accessibility Standard and generally applied under the US Americans with Disabilities Act.

What we do

  • Use clear headings, a logical reading order and a “Skip to content” link.
  • Make everything usable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
  • Keep text contrast high and let text resize without breaking the layout.
  • Add text alternatives to meaningful images and label every form field.
  • Respect your device’s reduced-motion setting, so animations switch off.
  • Work on phones, tablets and computers.

Known limits

We test our pages ourselves and have not yet had an independent accessibility audit. The animated word band on the homepage is decorative and hidden from screen readers; the same words appear as plain text elsewhere on the site. Some content comes from third-party tools, such as our booking calendar, which we cannot fully control.

Tell us about a problem

If something on this site is hard to use, or you need information in another format, email support@KevinDAmbros-Smith.com or use the contact page. Tell us the page and what happened. We aim to reply within two business days and to fix the problem or offer you another way to get what you need.

In New Zealand you can also contact the Office for Disability Issues or the Human Rights Commission. In the United States you can contact the US Department of Justice ADA information line.
